Refund Policy
Last updated: March 5, 2026
1. Overview
InfluBase uses a secure escrow-based payment system to protect both brands and influencers. Campaign funds are held by the platform until deliverables are completed and approved. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.
2. Refund Conditions
A brand may be eligible for a full or partial refund under the following circumstances:
- Campaign Not Started: If the influencer fails to accept or begin the campaign within the agreed timeline, the full campaign amount (excluding any non-refundable platform fees, if applicable) will be refunded to the brand.
- Non-Delivery of Deliverables: If the influencer does not deliver the agreed-upon campaign content within the specified deadline, the brand may request a full refund of the escrowed amount.
- Incomplete or Substandard Work: If the deliverables do not meet the campaign brief requirements as agreed upon, the brand may raise a dispute. After review, InfluBase may issue a partial or full refund.
- Mutual Cancellation: If both the brand and influencer agree to cancel the campaign before deliverables are submitted, the escrowed amount will be refunded to the brand.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:
- The brand approved the deliverables and payment has been released to the influencer.
- The brand failed to respond or review deliverables within the specified review period, and payment was auto-released.
- The campaign was completed as per the agreed brief but the brand is dissatisfied with the marketing results or ROI (results are not guaranteed by the platform).
- The brand's campaign violates our Terms & Conditions and was terminated by the platform.
4. Dispute Resolution Process
If a brand or influencer has a concern regarding a campaign, the following process applies:
- Raise a Dispute: Either party can raise a dispute through the platform's dispute resolution system within 7 days of the campaign deadline.
- Evidence Submission: Both the brand and influencer will be asked to submit supporting evidence, including the campaign brief, communication records, and delivered content.
- Platform Review: InfluBase will review all submitted evidence and may request additional information from either party.
- Resolution: Based on the review, InfluBase will issue a decision which may include a full refund to the brand, partial refund, or release of payment to the influencer. The platform's decision is final and binding.
5. Payment Release Conditions
Payments held in escrow are released to influencers when:
- The brand explicitly approves the campaign deliverables on the platform.
- The review period expires without the brand raising a dispute or requesting revisions (auto-release).
- A dispute is resolved in favour of the influencer.
The platform's service commission is deducted from the campaign amount before the payout is released to the influencer.
6. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. The actual time for the refund to reflect in the brand's account may vary depending on the payment method and banking institution. InfluBase is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors.
